Walking in our community 02/27/14

Puffy and I had a good day today.  we saw fresh elk tracks - but no elks:

Elk tracks leading onto someone's property

This is where the elk tracks were going...

The elk tracks were located up in that line of trees above.

The only thing we saw was one lone Bluebird....

Hugs and kisses,
Coco Rose and Puff Darby

  2. Those elk sure do have big hooves.

Love your Bluebird too! Is that a 'Mountain Bluebird'? A bit different than our Eastern bluebirds which have orange on them, too.

    1. Don't have a clue as to what type of bluebird it was. It followed us for a little bit - I think it has a nest someplace close by.

    1. Sure hope I get a picture of a nice gentle elk who is standing still posing for the picture, not of one chasing momma down the road as she tries to take it's picture. I hear elk can be very dangerous at time. Also, they tend to run right in front of cars and that in it's self can cause accidents. Not sure if it is a wise thing for momma to be out looking for them.

    1. Charlie, believe me I know your pain. We don't have high speed internet and are only allotted a certain amount of internet time per month. Momma isn't doing too good at this and has ran out of time the last two months and will probably do so again this month - BOL
