Third times a charm 08/29/16

Hi friends, Mei-Ling and Jade here...

This is our third attempt to update our blog.  Normally, momma helps us do our blog using the computer.  The last three times, she had us use her Samsung Galaxy tablet.  For some reason, the menu bar had been missing, so we were not able to add captions to the photos, couldn't change the photo sizes, and even worse, we were unable to publish our page.

I'm  going to stop complaining now because apparently MOMMA didn't know what she was doing.

Now, onto more important things:  Ms. Donna, our thoughts and prayers are with you.  Please get better soon.  Demon Flash Bandit, Angel Zoom Smokey, the rest of your family and friends love you much and hope for your recovery.

And, speaking of Damion Flash Bandit, we received a couple of his Presidential bumper stickers.  Jade took them outside and put one on momma's car and the other one on daddy's truck.  You have our vote big dog.

Daddy is going to be very surprised when he see this.

Momma is proud to support Demon in his Presidential bid.

Time has really been flying by.  I am now two years old, and my little fursister Jade is one, can you belive that?  I'm the mellow pup, while as Jade is the trouble maker.  She has been told numerous times to stop bothering our elderly kitty brother Simba, but refuses to leave him alone.

Here I am...

And here is Jade...

This is Simba - he is 16 or 17 years old.

We need to welcome Kinley and Brinley to their new home.  Your new big fursister Finley will teach you everything that she knows.  We have to agree with Hershey when he said that the pups won the Lotto on getting a great home.  Congratulations girls, we are looking forward to watching you grow up.

We had a very scarry summer.  We live in a rural community among lots of tall pine, pinon and cypress tress.  Due to the on going droughts that we have had, some of our lakes have disappeared, trees died due to the lack of water, so the humans were told strict fire prevention were in place to preserve the community and surrounding areas.  Not long afterwards, a fire occurred less than two miles from our home.  Luckily, it was noticed and put out right away.  About one month later, there was another fire, also about two miles away, but in a different location, and this fire was much bigger.  There were multiple fire departments working to put the fire out.  After battling the second fire for hours, it was finally extinguished.  Everyone here dodged the bullet this time around.  We got lucky.  Many humans have not been as fortunate as we were.

Yup, that's a lot of trees....

Anyhoodle, that's enough for tonight, let's see if momma can get this published.  Keep your paws crossed...

Hugs and kisses, Mei-Ling and Jade
