Tasty 06/13/15

Hi pals - Mei-Ling here...

I got my very own BUSY bone, and boy was it TASTY!

Yummy...

I'm going to eat all of it...

The only problem with Busy Bones is that I tend to get the crumbs stuck in my beautiful hair and you know what that means - Yes, I had to have a bath afterwards, but it was worth it!

And for those of you who are wondering, I didn't actually get to eat the whole thing because Puffy stole it from me and then preceded to gobble it down.

    1. Frankie and Ernie, I wish it was that simple because I love those Busy Bones, but they are made of some type of substance that, when wet, turns almost into glue. As you know, when you have a really yummy treat, one tends to slobber on it as it is getting eaten. That produces little clumps of glue like substance that gets all tangled up in my hair. Now, I don't mind that at all because it gives me something to nibble on later in the day, but momma is not so understanding. The only way to get it out of my hair is to give me a bath. Needless to say, I don't get these yummy Busy Bones too often.

  2. I had to 'hunt' fur where your face was in that first picture, BOL!

    Then I found you:))

You look cute munching on that. I think I might have done the same thing as Puffy did...only I don't think I would have let you taste it furst, though. My manners...not too good sometimes, BOL!
    Have a great weekend!

    1. Morning Freckles, Puffy is very polite and waits for me to put down the Busy Bone before he STEALS the one I am munching on. Momma gave him his own, but for some reason he didn't want it. He only wants the ones that have been "broken in" for him - BOL

    1. Charlie, some of my facial hair is still to short to get captured in the rubber band and momma is not the best dog groomer around so we don't want to suggest any new hair ideas to her - Okay?

    1. When we have our Fourth of July dogtravaganza here at the rancho, I will see if Zaiidie can work out a deal with the Busy Bone folks to send a truck load of them for everyone to enjoy.

And Whitley, if you put the Busy Bone under momma's pillow she probably wouldn't find it and then you could have a wonderful midnight snack - BOL

    1. I really don't mind the baths, Spencer, but the comb out is terrible...and then the blow drying..., I could do without them both but I'm sure you know how it is with your lovely Goldendoodle hair.

    1. Zoe, I'm going to tell you a secrete...The Busy Bone I was eating was the dental and breath cleaning one. I was actually happy he took it because his breath could use a little, okay, maybe a LOT of help, but don't tell him I said that because I don't want to hurt his feelings.

    1. Hi everybody, Finley said you were posting again. e don't get here much. Some of us are over on Facebook.

I just wanted you to know, that Milo went to the Bridge to be with Coco in February. He was diagnosed with a fast moving cancer and died 2 months later. I decided not to do anything because of his age and just keep him comfortable, but he really wasn't in much pain until the end. He died in my arms at home, at 3:00 AM, with Luna and Hobo laying nearby him. I sat there like that, holding him and crying until the morning. I called my vet and took him down there. He was cremated and lays next to Jenny's box. So, Luna missed him but Hobo, not so much. I thought it would be the other way around. I miss him terribly but, I'm glad he is with Jenny and Coco.

Sorry for the bad news. I'm glad your are all good and happy Puffy is still with us.
