Sharing 05/30/15

Hello pals, Mei-Ling Star here,

I wanted to show you how good I am at sharing...

This is Puffy's bed that sits on top of Momma's bed.  I'm teaching Puffy the importance of sharing.

Here are some stuffies that Puffy had before I moved in.  Again, I'm teaching Puffy the importance of sharing.

Here Puffy is playing with his favorite stuffie, Mr. Froggy.  As you can see, Puffy hasn't quite gotten the hang of sharing as he doesn't want to let me have the stuffie.

"No, No Puffy, you are supposed to let me play with your stuffies."  As you can see, this was an older picture because I was just a tiny pup, but the lessons had to start early so I could establish that sharing is good.

"Lesson, smession - Mr. Froggy is MINE.  No little pip squeak is going to take my froggy away."

And here is a really important sharing lesson.  Make sure you share the blame when the humans think you did something wrong.  "Ripped paper?  What ripped paper?"

"It wasn't me - Puffy must have done it."

It's a good thing I'm such a nice guy as I let Mei-Ling THINK she is getting away with all kinds of stuff, but we all know who the real trouble maker is in my house, and it isn't me.

    1. Zoe, Did you see momma captured Mei-Ling trying to blame me for the ripped paper in that photo? She thinks because she is so cute that no one would suspect her of making that mess, but the humans know I don't rip paper, so it didn't work. It's a good thing I find Mei-Ling to be entertaining or I would be having "words" with her right now.

    1. Frankie and Ernie - Momma told me when she brought Mei-Ling home that it would be really nice if I shared my stuffies with her. I love MY stuffies but I am really good at sharing so I was good with that. I/m trying my best to be the best big furbrother to the little trouble maker, er, I mean Mei-Ling,

    1. Yes Freckles, you would never have a stuffie thief, but you also wouldn't have someone to snuggle up to on a cold winters night, or how could I possibly get another cookie if I didn't have Mei-Ling around so I could take one, or two, away from her. But you know what the best thing about having Mei-Ling here? I really like her, but don't tell her I said that, okay?

    3. Freckles, one of the biggest concerns momma had before she adopted me was that Puffy wouldn't like the new addition. Momma told me all about Puffy as they were driving back from Arizona, so I knew what to expect. At first Puffy was not too very happy, but I worked my charms on him and now, we are best pals. hopefully, when we get a new fursister, everything will go just as well. Not sure what momma would do should one, or both of us, not get along with the new comer. Momma has heard some real horror stories about pups that could not get along and how miserable that made the family.

    1. Hi Whitley, I can run like the wind when I take one of the stuffies away from Puffy. All I am doing is trying to get him to chase me and then play tug-o-war with me, but he is having lots of problems walking so he doesn't play too much. That's way momma is getting another Shih Tzu puppy, so I will have a active play pal. I'll be certain to teach her how to share - BOL

    1. Finley, you and I think alike. I heard momma tell Puffy that he had to share his stuffies with me, and boy, does he have a lot of them. Anyways, momma never said I had to share with him - BOL, BOL.

  7. Julie, momma is getting rid of both of those round, red beds because she ordered two different beds for us. They are almost exactly like the ones in the above picture except that the hoods on the new beds stay up, unlike the hoods on the above beds, which do not. Momma wants to know if you would like her to send the old beds to you? She said she would wash them prior to sending them.

    1. Hi there Charlie, Pictures can be deceiving. I am having a great deal of trouble walking and I am getting weaker and weaker, but I keep going as someone has to train Mei-Ling. I have been enjoying being a big furbrother to her and she does light a fire under my tired butt - BOL.
